Wight Vodka’s Island Sailing Club Evening Race Series Wraps Up

Cowes, England

With the end of summer upon us, the final race of the Island Sailing Club’s Evening race Series finished with the competitors taking on the tactically challenging conditions off the Isle of Wight.

Chris Thomas, Sailing Secretary at the ISC, commented “The Evening Race Series is held throughout the summer and is enjoyed by all.  Each class joins this series for the competition and fun.  The prize giving at the end of the season is a great event, and people are of course looking to take home the trophies, including a bottle of Wight Vodka and Wight Vodka regatta caps for those 1st in Class winners.  Thanks to Ritu and her crew at 50° North for their continued support!”

Evening Race Chairman, Peter Dickson summarized the season’s racing, and thanked the event sponsors for their help and support.  As they collected their trophies, a number of competitors said it had been the best season’s racing ever.  Trophies were presented and the 1st in Class crews receiving a coveted bottle of Wight Vodka and the WV Regatta Caps were:
